Mariko S. Bertocci

Mariko S Bertocci was born and raised in Tokyo, Japan. She graduated from Musashino Art University, Tokyo, and is currently living and working in New York. While employed as a studio painter for Jeff Koons and Takashi Murakami, her drawings and felted sculpture were shown in Tokyo, New York, and Beijing. Recently, she found the ideal way to express her concept of loss and permanence in tattooing and her new carrier as a tattoo artist. She currently resides in Astoria, Queens, NY, and is Resident Artist at Yant studio.
